In Series #2 , “Upbeat time!” the focus is on the creation of sonic collages founded primarily on “rock jazz” [progressive, fusion, and smooth jazz mixes] and integrates live percussion tracks in some of the mixes. As such it allows the listener to experience, stylistically, a more in-depth exploration of some of the avenues and eddies which this compositional approach can traverse.
